LAS VEGAS (KLAS)– The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Section (LVMPD) arrested about 300 people through the holiday break season.

The Vacation Initiative models made 341 arrests, 160 of which were felony or gross misdemeanor rates, police reported.

Officers issued 84 misdemeanor citations, 1988 website traffic citations and impounded 16 firearms.

“The annual Holiday Initiative is an instance of how the LVMPD presents safety to our companies and purchasers throughout the holiday period,” Las Vegas police mentioned in a statement.

The LVMPD 2021 Getaway Initiative began Thanksgiving 7 days and ended on Dec. 29, 2021, where by officers are stationed in high-traffic searching parts.
